Eoin MacLachlan

Overview

Eoin joined Chambers in September 2022 following successful completion of his pupillage under the supervision of Alec McCluskey, Maxim Cardew, Narinder Jhittay, and Laurie Scher. 

Eoin accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ core areas of practice, including commercial disputes, civil fraud, insolvency, and property. He is currently developing a broad commercial chancery practice.

 

Prior to the Bar, Eoin worked for a number of years at BCG (Boston Consulting Group), an international management consulting firm. During his time there, he gained broad commercial experience in the private equity, retail banking, and healthcare practices.

Eoin received a first-class undergraduate degree in law (with a minor in economics) from University College Dublin and a first-class LLM from St John’s College, Cambridge.

While studying for the BVS course (formerly the BPTC) at City, University of London, Eoin was a Lord Mansfield Scholar, which is Lincoln’s Inn’s most prestigious award. He received a ‘Distinction’ in the BVS.
